Just ordered a KA-6, now for the fuel. After reviewing the posts it seams like a lot of folks like Superior over Blaschak. I also read that Superior doesn’t sell in bags. I have tried to find bulk sales in the Erie PA area without any luck. Was curious about peoples experiences with Blaschak rice for the KA-6. I can get it locally bagged for $248 ton.

Hi stokin-railroad,I have 4 ton bought. My house is a 17 year old ranch 2040 sq ft. I had a out side wood stove for 13 years used to much wood running out of woods to cut in. So I thought I would try coal. I have oil back up but don't want to use it $$$$$$$

This is great info. I work in Meadville and had no idea there was a supplier there. Weavers is the price that I quoted in the post. I should have asked about bulk. I am of the same thought as you. Want to see how much I use and quality of coal before I go with bulk. I actually live in Cambridge Springs (Erie as a known city), so we may be able to work together for bulk discounts down the road. Im calling Bylers in the AM and locking in three pallets. Who did you get your boiler from?

Hi ronw I called keystoker for a dealer in my area and they gave me the one in kingsville Oh. I called him and got a price on a KA-6. And with diesel at $4.85 gal I would like to find a dealer closer to me.Stoped at country harth on RT198 saegertown by lazer tool on the bend and asked if he sold coal boilers and he said he just started to handle keystoker and did not know a thing about theme.I told him what I knew from this forum. He said he would give me a good deal on it if I would tell pepole about it and be willing to show it to pepole sense this is the first one he had sold. After he told me the price I had no problem with showing pepole the boiler for him. He was $650.00 cheaper and only 5 miles away. I live in venango township on center road.I will send you a private messages.
