Dwyer, model T25S

Dwyer, model T25S

Was looking for a manometer to use when I get my stove hooked up to my chimney. I found a Dwyer model T25S on ebay. Is this a model that would work for me? Description says it reads from .5 to 3" but pic looks like it will read from -.05 to 3". I'm not at all familiar with these so I wanted to check before buying. Thanks.

I think thats the standard around the forum. At least I'm hoping so...it's the same model I purchased off eBay

Yep, that's the right one to buy,, most stoves need to be set up to draft at about .04-.07".. so you will be using the first inch or so of the gauge..

yea , the first inch or so. not the numbers on the gauge. check the Manometer thread out. WNY has a post that shows were the readings should be.

That seems to be the board's standard, about $30 new. Get yourself a short length (2' or so) of brake line from the auto parts store to stick on the end of the hose to make life easier for you.

Just remember to hook the stove flue to the low side, that way you will get the full readability available. ;)
