That's a shame, he was my favorite comedian by far.

une 23 (Bloomberg) -- George Carlin, a Grammy award-winning comedian whose routine about ``The Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television'' was the subject of a U.S. Supreme Court decision, died of heart failure in California yesterday. He was 71.

Carlin went to St. John's Hospital, Santa Monica, yesterday after complaining of chest pain and died at 5:55 p.m. local time, his publicist Jeff Abraham said.

Maybe one of two videos I'll allow from him here in this section. :P

Agreed Richard. What a mind he had!! ( I always use his line about his religious beliefs that when you die....your sole goes to a vacant garage in Cleveland! )

Truly a *censored* great comedian, and a role model for thinking outside the box and challenging what is "normal". I'll miss ya George. :(

"And why do they call that building where planes go after they land, 'terminal'?"

So sorry to hear he has passed on. Certainly will miss him. I was lucky enough to see him live 7 or 8 years ago. I know some people don't care for his humor but he sured tickled my funny bone. Condolances to the ones he left behind.

Man! I remember laughing my ass off when I was a kid listening to Carlin. He was way too funny. My sons all crack up when I tell them about the " fizz, the fazz, the fizzfazz, the *censored*, the tearass , and the kind that goes whooosh". Scott
I think a man does what he can, untill his destiny is revealed. Right now that is hauling 10 tons of coal at a time into the Great Northeast. Also trying to sell my EMf plate boilers in 350,520, and 700 sizes. And a 520 for $ 2500
