We have a bennington home heater wood/coal add on boiler. We need new grates for it. Any ideas on how to find replacements. We heard that bennington home heater is no longer operating in Vermont. Possibly somewhere in PA. We have always burned wood, but are thinking of burning coal this winter. Thanks for your help.

There are a few online retailers that handle an assortment of grates, try a Google search. Discontinued units can be tough getting parts for, especially grates.

The Bennington Homeheater is still being made today in Bennington. The shop is about 26 miles from me. It is basically a small fabrication shop that builds the stoves when needed. I do not know their number off hand but can find it if with a little search. They sell the stoves under the name Energy Marketing Group. I think the name of the shop is L&M Fabrication in North Bennington.
