Speaking as a male chauvinist pig (something I do very well :D ) I think all of us males would love her to be there, beside us in bed at 3:00AM when the phone rings, but I don't want her answering it!! ...........It may be my wife!!

I don't get too serious about politics. I've known Sarah about 30 minutes and I like her! It may turn out that "inexperience" might not matter, if she has "good common sense and logic". Hell, nobody has proven themselves as CinC, until they have been there.

"Experience" does not necessarily equate to a good thing.

It's about as smart a choice that McCain could have made.

Sarah Palin is Kryptonite to Barak Obama. I generally feel that most Americans are now voting purely on an ideaology if they have one, and then on how the candidate makes them feel. The deciding voters are in the "how they feel" category. I suspect that Sarah Palin will capture most of these voters, because her very nature is fundamentally Americanism.

* She is good looking.
* She is still married to her high school sweetheart, and they have 5 children.
* During high school, she got up at 3:00 AM to hunt moose with her father.
* She was the point guard and captain for her high school BB team. Her team won the state championship in 1982, and she led the championship game while playing with a stress fracture in her ankle and hit a critical free throw in the last seconds to seal the game.
* She was also head of the school Fellowship of Christian Athletes and led the team in prayer before games.
* She won 2nd place in the 1984 Miss Alaska beauty pageant.
* Currently, she hunts, eats moose burgers, ice fishes, rides snowmobiles, and owns a float plane.
* Her husband is a champion snowmobiler, and he has won the 2000-mile "Iron Dog" race four times.
* Her oldest son is in the Army and will be deployed to Iraq in September.
* Her youngest son was born in April of 2008-- she returned to work 3 days after giving birth.
* She has executive leadership credentials.

Things are going to be heatin' up soon!!!

I think she's going to chew Biden up and spit him out in the debates. Her nickname is Sarah Barracuda. She might be cute, but she's a steel magnolia! She's gov of the largest state in the union, it borders two foreign countries, and she's raised 5 children. I'd say she's got plenty of experience. I hear she's a realy good shot too. It will be nice to have a VP that can hit what she's aiming at.

I second that. I think she helps to shore up the conservative wing of the party. Her age may be a small liability but she helps more than she hurts McCain in the long run in my opinion.

She is reported to be a life member of the NRA. I have to support my fellow NRA life members!

Saw a video today of her shooting an AR15 at an indoor range. Looked like full auto too. Cool! :)

I agree with you but that kinda blows McCain's whole anti-Obama "Too Inexperienced to be CinC" campaign rhetoric out the window, doesn't it! ;)

(seems to me that McCain just threw away 1/2 of his ammunition magazines on the eve of battle &, if he's as "good" a marksman as his good pal Dick Cheney,............He's gonna need every round he can put down range!)

Actually her youngest has Down Syndrome, just as a point of record. Funny I keep hearing about her lack of experince, she's the only one with Executive experince out of all 3 people in the race.
Biden is way to full of himself to hold back throughout this campaign and not blurt out some stupid sexest remark. Her husband works 2 different jobs, they are not millionare Washington insiders, this is what the Leftists are pissed about?

Obama's experience over hers, what experience does he have? She is a Governor, she's been governing as most ex presidents have done. She is a self made woman and has already proven herself. She's gonna wipe up the floor with obama & biden, all the while with a baby on her hip... even if mccain is riding on her coat tails :D

She has a very impressive resume, built solidly on her own Merritt, not due to any affirmative action policy's.

Yes she has....of the 47th smallest state in the nation (population) & for a mere 18 months ........& she is already being investigated for corruption in a bipartisan investigation of her within the Alaska legislature!

Of all the Republicans McCain could have chosen, she is the best choice to be a heartbeat away from the Presidency??! ( of a 72 year old man who has had cancer four times?!?)
What kind of judgment & love of his country does that disclose?

How long has Obama been a senator? 2 years? In that 2 years has he done anything other than campaign for the presidency. So he is just as in-experienced as Palin but she is not running for president. Maybe the dems ticket should be Biden/Obama.
