John McCain’s VP Pick?

You never here what the state trooper did.
• Wooten used a taser on his stepson.
• He illegally shot a moose.
• He drank beer in his patrol car on one occasion.
• He told others his father-in-law would “eat a f’ing lead bullet” if he helped his daughter get an attorney for the divorce.

Bottom line & irrefutable fact is that McCain's choice for his VP is presently under a bi-partisan corruption investigation within Alaska's legislature regarding her conduct as governor of Alaska.....True or False?

This is McCain's best judgment for someone who could easily become U.S President & CinC should his 72 year old health fail again?

I would take my chances with her over Biden any day!

I was never a big fan of McCain, was going to vote for him because he seems the lesser of two evils, but now that she is on the ticket I am for sure going to vote for them with some enthusiasm.

I am sure he knows that she will not be satisfied to sit on the side lines, she will be in his ear every day!

Obama championed change and picked old shcool Biden,

McCain championed experience and picked Palin,

Tit for tat it seems.

So vote for whom ever you like, As for Palin, I like her, I think most will like her.

So Devil if you are cirtain she is a bad move on McCain's part, jump for joy!

I think most will like her more than they like McCain for whatever reason, So best just to get over it.

Go Vote. That's all I have to say on the matter.

Well....It's a free country & I find your claim of "enthusiasm" a bit hollow, but that is obviously just my opinion. I believe that the U.S. desperately needs a change from the failed Bush policies that a McCain Presidency promises to continue. For those who are doing well economically & like the road we are on, nothing I could say will change your minds anyway. I can only hope that enough voters are angry enough to "throw the bums out" in November. I think there are enough, but we will all see together on November 4th.

My initial take on this is that it's refreshing to finally see someone from one of the two major parties that stands for something besides their own interests. I've got a lot to learn about her but what I've heard so far says she's got more spine than Obama or McCain. In my opinion, Obama has all the staying power and substance of a puff of smoke. John McCain, war hero, POW, would have been made sick if he could have seen what John McCain, presidential candidate has become. I think this VP pick has been the first positive move he's made. Now if he could only remember how to be a leader, and stop being a pandering politician, we may have a ticket.

She's republican, so of course Devil doesn't like her.
She speaks clearly, without double-talk, I'm sure this confuses the Liberals,, they've been listening to Obammmamma and Hillary for so long they can't handle or understand a straight statement of truth.

I can't think of anyone I'd rather have on the ticket with McCain, a perfect choice.. I was hootn' and hollerin' when I listened to her..

Don't tell Devil, Greg but I actually like the Governor from Alaska. Too bad we can't flip flop jobs. Anyone with her crazy hair can't be bad. Here is a pic of her in vogue:

My wife was talking to some friends in the bowling alley and she was floored by the comments she heard about not voting for Obama because of his skin color. My wife is very liberal and teaches in a melting pot. They were saying that all blacks hate whites, are lazy, and want a free ride. My wife didn't know where to begin and told them that they should be looking at the issues they stand for and not their skin color. There is still a lot of divide in this country. Adding an attractive, intelligent Governor who is not afraid to take a stand was a wise choice. Unfortunately, I would rather vote for Elmer Fudd before I voted for crazy MCcain.

Is she fooling any women in Alaska itself?...No

Here are a few letters:

She is really just a mayor from a small town outside Anchorage who has been a governor for only 1.5 years, and has ZERO national and international experience. I shudder to think that she could be the person taking that 3AM call on the White House hotline, and the one who could potentially be charged with leading the US in the volatile international scene that exists today. —Rose M., Fairbanks, AK

She is VERY, VERY conservative, and far from perfect. She's a hunter and fisherwoman, but votes against the environment again and again. She ran on ethics reform, but is currently under investigation for several charges involving hiring and firing of state officials. She has NO experience beyond Alaska. —Christine B., Denali Park, AK

As an Alaskan and a feminist, I am beyond words at this announcement. Palin is not a feminist, and she is not the reformer she claims to be. —Karen L., Anchorage, AK

Alaskans, collectively, are just as stunned as the rest of the nation. She is doing well running our State, but is totally inexperienced on the national level, and very much unequipped to run the nation, if it came to that. She is as far right as one can get, which has already been communicated on the news. In our office of thirty employees (dems, republicans, and nonpartisans), not one person feels she is ready for the V.P. position.—Sherry C., Anchorage, AK

She's vehemently anti-choice and doesn't care about protecting our natural resources, even though she has worked as a fisherman. McCain chose her to pick up the Hillary voters, but Palin is no Hillary. —Marina L., Juneau, AK

I think she's far too inexperienced to be in this position. I'm all for a woman in the White House, but not one who hasn't done anything to deserve it. There are far many other women who have worked their way up and have much more experience that would have been better choices. This is a patronizing decision on John McCain's part- and insulting to females everywhere that he would assume he'll get our vote by putting "A Woman" in that position.—Jennifer M., Anchorage, AK

So does Castro but the last time I checked, Alaska wasn't a dictatorship. She got her approval rating the old fashioned way...She earned it. Alaska is full of free spirits who arn't easily lead. that speaks volumes for her popularity. Frankly I'd rather see her on the top of the ticket. Who knows, in 4 years?
