New model coming out this fall according to my dealer, 5k to 104K BTU, yes, 104,000 BTU. (that'll warm ya), 100 # rice capacity, Model P33. For basement install, a duct pipe connected to a floor register can be attached to the stove per the ad I'm reading . Also coming out with another pellet stove (only goes to 43K BTU) but we don't discuss them thangs here. Fyi, Ugly.

Harman has announced two new products but both of them pellet. There has not been any mention of another coal unit that I am aware of. The Harman pellet stoves all start with "P" P-38 P-60 P-61 P-68 etc. The new pellet stove is going to be P-43 an auto version of the P-38, the new boiler is 60K btu's and designed for supplement instead of total heating.

Is Harman under new ownership? (in other words, will their stuff turn into junk from now on? :( )

devil, my dealer made a copy of the new brochure from his computer file and I'm reading from it now. The new pellet as you said is p43 though the brochure does not note a coal model # though I believe my dealer said P33 but I could be wrong. Nevertheless, left side of the page notes super magnum stoker and a picture. The ash door shows two embossed cowboys** on horses. Has adjustable leg height and a filtered convection blower system per the paragraph. Also says " The proven verti-flow coal feed system is the engine that drives the new Super Mag." Fuel : rice flue 6", Availaibility: Aug 08 **Bovine Coordination Engineer :>

Yes they are and have been for a while now. Having said that do you always look at the glass as half empty (with some dude trying to steal the rest)? Just because they switched ownership in no way indicates that its going to become junk. It could happen -or- they could get better.

A little more Info, Harman was bought out by a company called HNI which is quite a diversified company. One of their divisions is Hearth & Home Technologies which has a few brands.
