Stove Efficiencies

Anyone know what the efficincies are on the Pocono single burner unit? I guess for that fact what can we expect for efficincies of coal stoves? Do they vary by brand and model?

The Pocono is about 83%. You need to send some heat up the chimney to maintain a draft.

hi Jerry , i understand about the need for heat to get the draft. is a DV unit better or worse? thank you , ken

I'm not a power vent guy, but when you set the rheostat on the PV and the right baro setting, your in good shape.
