I am holding 160 to 185 with 3 and 3 with just the timer running the unit mostly. whoIm thinking 4 and 4 will bring temps up to high limit and shut the stoker down again. Mabey in a couple days. Any you guys going to coal fest this saturday?

Nah, I need to get my system finished. I've got a radiator to repair and get the oil unit back together.

That's what I like about this forum. Some people spend the weekend on the couch in front of the TV. Bill would you like my list of what I should be doing this Saturday instead of going to the Fall M & G? Take a day off...

Yeah, maybe it's time for a day off. I've been going 7 days since May. It's time I put some faces to all of the names.
Now I have to go read that thread to see what the day's entertainment is going to be. Something coal related I hope :D

Installed manometer to examine draft performance. While sitting there not running it is .02 to .03. I capped the tee where the baro damper was for now.

This morn I made some adjustments, 4 and 4 on air and turned aquastat up to 160. Didnt work out too good. When I got home this evening it was up to 200 degrees and the high limit was holding the timer from running the unit its normal cycle. So I returned settings back and when the unit finally fired back to life the coal took off with help from a little extra boost of air. It hasent fired in at least 1 1/2 hour and was still able to refire. :D Knowing that I changed the timer to 3 minuites every one hour. See how that goes.

Try 2 or 3 min every hr on the timer and try 140F low & 180F high on the Aquastat

why did you do that .02 to .03 three is good adjust the baro to your Manomenter did you check the manoment with the
cap back on the chimney pipe you will see how high your draft will be when it starts stoke up I bet you will see .06 or more
with the cap on and the baro off you will be heating the neighborhood up outside
