Just bought one cheap brand new one. Knoxstove.com does not exist. Not sure but I think it is a T18 or T15. No manuals, nothing. I have a use for a big batch burner like this nay help/advice would be nice. Go easy on me as I really am a coal newbie but determined to learn as quickly as possible. Don't even have a starter pipe. I would like to put some sort of decorative flue such as an enamaled pipe etc. I also have few other stoves too. I am a horse farm operator and need to heat various areas up to 14,000 sq.ft. in SNYS. Oil tanks/furnaces have been smashed up that gives me an incentive to change! I learn coal or quit the business.
So far
AA 260 (August delivery)
Harmon DVC-500 installed anther coming november
Keystoker 90000 installed
Harmon P38 pellet stove
Old warm morning stove
and of course my mysterious torridaire
One question is would the tooridaire and warm morning burn pea so I don't need three bins.
Grabbed what I could as there was not much selection. Got 25 tons rice delivered. 25 pea coming.
$$hit or bust - here we go.
As Napoleon said: "From the sublime to the ridiculous is but a step."
I don't know how we got ourselves into this energy mess but here we are.

Well, I'll dust off the ol' 3.2meg and send some pictures. However, whilst you are chewing on that one here is a wild idea. I have been playing with this:
http://www.greensteamengine.com/
You can get 5-10KW of electricity with low pressure steam as a result of the low mass of this engine. The anthratube 260M already has a 15PSI TPV. How about running it at 20-25lbs of steam and cogenerating electricity. Bingo I'm off the gird. Where am I going wrong? Heat, pure water (if you need it) if not recycle, electricity and it is all automatic.
