Where to buy 2nd ash bucket

We carry our own tubs, but Joe Anczarski in Shenandoah would probably have other styles for other makes.

The easiest way to get extra ash cans is just to order extra with a stoker. I can't get by myself without an extra ash can.

We only have ten of them. :D Most of the customers I had would generally have enough to get by for a week. Ashes are picked up around here once a week so they have enough to just put the tubs out for pick-up.

Richard,

The bin from ACE is the correct size. I ordered it from local ACE Hardware store, and paid less than the online price too. It was about $18, and no shipping since I picked it up at the local ACE Hardware store. I picked it up today, and its identical to the one for the DF-520.

Model: 70819

Manf#: 501
UPC#: 024826203179
Manf: DOVER PARKERSBURG
Keyword: BASKET BUSHEL GALV 1 BU

Thanks for the recommendation.

Last week I ordered a square tub from the local Ace store. It came in today... it's the #2, not the #1 I was hoping for. ACE does not carry the #1 square. So, now, where can I find a #1 square tub?

*bump*

Still can't find a #1 square galvanized tub! Ace only carries the #2.

A #1 is smaller than a #2. #2 is 15 gallons, I think a #1 is a bushel.

Thanks for the links Coalberner.

There's a # in the middle of the bottom. Seems like everyone has #2's. There was a thread a while back where someone put together a co-op and offered brushes for a good rate. Is there a good place to get these #1 squares for less than a small fortune? :) Scott

Center Street Hardware in Pottsville , Pa. had them last week. I paid $24.69 for the 1 bushel size, which is the same one that came with DF520.

So, we have $26 vs. $16. Are both of these the exact same quality and part number?

Here is exactly what I have that I bought at Stagers Store in Portage PA.

And I have also seen them at our local Tractor Supply Store. Just $2 more....

I have no idea on how they stand up quality wise to the $26 tubs... as I don't have one of those!

So far they work well for me.
