I disagree with your post Greg.

If anyone is a disgrace & to blame for our energy problems it is the man pictured below, ....An oil man who has been "holding hands" (both literally & figuratively) with the Arabs for the last eight years, and his would be successor/clone John McCain!

There is NO QUESTION that McCain is a patriot.. he has the scars to prove it, and the years in the senate to prove he knows how the government works.. Oprah, I mean Obama is so junior that he's still green.

Of course you disagree,, just like I disagree with virtually every one of your 500+ anti Republican, anti Bush, posts.. No, I don't like Bush, and I'm not enthraled with McCain,, but I'm terrified of what will happen if Obama gets elected... Maybe I should just sell everything and go live in a wigwam in Idaho.. it's probably the only safe place to try to survive if Mr TAX EVERTYHING !! gets in office.

If you don't like Bush & your not enthralled with McCain, then I suggest your "Terror" over what an Obama Presidency could mean to his country is totally misguided. Take a look around you Greg, at your own industry for that matter (one of your competitors is now charging $7.00 for a damned blanket to a cold passenger!......If GW was running the airline, they would intentionally keep the cabin temps real low too! )......My 2 year old granddaughter would have done a better job for this country than these guys have done in the last 8 years & you have still have not come up with one real difference between GW Bush & John McCain in terms of domestic or foreign policies or even their Cabinets & advisers if McCain were to be elected. When I say it would be four more years of Bush policies, thinking, personnel & economics, I am dead serious!

LsFarm wrote:I disagree with virtually every one of your 500+ anti Republican, anti Bush, posts..

I truly hate what they have done to our country Greg, that is why I rail against them. If you are honest with yourself you'd have to admit that Bush economics & foreign policy are not even Republican,(I i.e. small government & not the world's policemen), his policies reflect "meandering stupidity", with no real direction for this country. McCain will just give us four more years of Hell..........& you know it! (or should)

Both of our careers have necessitated us learning how to overcome fear Greg.......I suggest you fall back on your basic courage, handle your fears, & vote for a candidate that at least offers a chance at real, positive change in this country's direction. McCain offers nothing but more of the same!

Got this e-mail

Putting things in perspective.

If I only had 143 days of experience, would you hire me to fix your car?
Would you hire me to run your company?
If I only had 143 days experience, would you hire me to run the Country?
Something America might want to think about.
Just how much Senate experience does Barrack Obama have in
terms of actual work days? Not much.

From the time Barrack Obama was sworn in as a United States
Senator, to the time he announced he was forming a Presidential
exploratory committee, he logged 143 days of experience in the
Senate. That's how many days the Senate was actually in session and
working (??).

After 143 days of work experience, Obama believed he was
ready to be Commander In Chief, Leader of the Free World, and fill
the shoes of Abraham Lincoln, FDR, JFK and Ronald Reagan.
143 days -- I keep leftovers in my refrigerator longer than that.
This isn't taking into account the days he has missed.

In contrast, John McCain's 26 years in Congress, 22 years
of military service including 1,966 days in captivity as a POW in
Hanoi now seem more impressive than ever. At 71, John McCain may
just be hitting his stride.

Think about it! A great many people in this Country have obviously gone
stark raving mad!

Of course I would if my current mechanic was making my car worse & overcharging me to boot!
(what I wouldn't do is hand my car over to your business partner in the same garage......I'd find a new, younger, well spoken, taller, more intelligent, inspirational & more honest mechanic!.....maybe one from around Chicago!!)

In regards this: ..."In contrast, John McCain's 26 years in Congress, 22 years

I fail to see how getting yourself shot down, being forced to spend "1966 days in captivity as a POW" & spending 26 years in a lackluster career in Congress automatically qualifies you to lead this country, or somehow means we "Owe You" the Presidency! I think growing up in a less than rich family & devoting your life to helping the less fortunate, when you could have decided to go for big money, is much more inspirational & American in its trajectory.

It doesn't automatically qualify him, it shows he has experienced things well beyond those of his opponent. Only you could fail to see that.

That said, Barack is about to experience being shot down. The only difference is his continued captivity in Congress will be instrumental in dragging this country even further to the left.

Experiencing things is good if that experience leads to better judgment. Sen. McCain's judgment is the exact same as that of GW Bush & we've all seen how beneficial that judgment is to our country!

Devil, you should check your info... 'that airline' that now charges $7 for a pillow and blanket, is MY airline, JetBlue airways..

Now just to offset and ballance your drivel that you read in the outraged Media press that an airline should charge for a blanket and pillow.. well first of all the blanket and pillow you get on an airliner is used.. many times.. not washed,, often the cover is not even changed on the pillow... the pillows are just picked up off the floor and put back in the overhead bins for the next idiot to use.. and the blankets are inspected for puke and semen, and if no obvious spots, refolded and stacked in the overhead bins for reuse... So you want free pillows and blankets.. go for it.... at JetBlue, we used to collect and clean all the blankets and pillows after every flight.. not any more..

For the 'outragous' charge of $7 you get your own NEW blanket and pillow, and a $5 coupon for Bed Bath &Beyond.. so for an actual $2 you get CLEAN healthy products to use...

Plus, any idiot who gets on an airplane in shorts and a tee shirt and expects to stay warm doesn't have the common sense to know up from down.. what is wrong with the picture of people bringing a sweater, or a sweat shirt along??? Are these people the same people who live their lives sucking on the socialist society tit, expecting to never have to think or take care of themselves?? My God, do these idiots expect a blanket when they get into a cab or bus or subway?? why would they expect anything different for a $49 ticket to Buffalo?? Gheez.

On my flight last night,, we sold 10 sets of pillowsandblankets... want to guess how many were left on the plane?? 7, yes that's right 7 of the 10 were left in their seats, or stuffed in the seatback pocket.. and... get this.. you know the $$$'y 'U' shaped neck pillows that sell for $12 in the airport lobby?? well there were 10, yes TEN of those left behind in the airplane.. so when $150+ worth of pillows and blankets get left behind,, then OBVIOUSLY the public just doesn't care... But the MEDIA makes a big Hoopla about it... typical.. feed the gripe-hungry public something to bitch about, especially those who never fly, now they have something else to whine about...

OK, so lets see... On NWA, SPIRIT, American, UNited. and all the other airlines, you get a bag of peanuts, maybe,, for a dollar or two, or a bag of 'trail mix' for $7, and half a can of soda..Hell Spirit charges $2 for a bottle of %%$#$% WATER.. WTF???? Water??? And to ask for seconds?? good luck!!

On Jetblue you get UNLIMITED Potato chips, Doritos, three different types of cookies, Biscotti, several cans of soda, iced tea, coffee, etc FOR FREE... we only limit the quantities to those who are filling their purses or backpacks with our soda and snacks..some people think that we are a free-product grocery store.

So devil, put the crap you read in the liberal media in perspective before you type it onto a post or spew it out,, you are being hoodwinked by the liberal media.

Gheesh,, I got a few fleck of foam on my keyboard... this crap really pisses me off, like the people who say it is 'intollerable' to have to wait for the weather to clear before we take off... WTF?? those idiots are the same ones who want me to avoid turbulence... yeah.. like that is something I can SEE??? My God the public is %%##$#%$& ignorant !!

Rant off, for now..

Alright!...... Alright!!....I promise to buy two of your damned blankets next time I fly your airline!! (just don't have a heart attack for god sakes!!)

Just so nobody takes this picture literally as it has been posted several other times.
It is a great picture for some to use to say that Bush is corrupt with oil and the Middle East. However...understand that what he is doing in the picture...holding hands...is customary in that country and several other countries over there.
Americans should leave the U.S. and take vacations outside our borders....never mind...those that think he is wrong for holding hands with a foreign King should just stay in their living rooms and continue living in their own world.

Quite right Mike but it is not the "literal" holding of Saudi hands that bothers me & is costing this country so dearly. It is the "Figurative" holding of Arabs hands by this administration for the last 8 years that does.

(Come on.....How hard do you really think an oil man like GW Bush was/is really pushing to get us off oil & into alternative fuels??....Be serious!)

About as much as Al Gore and the rest of the $$$$ politicians.....seriously... ;) Oil is relatively down right now but skyrocketing prices are around the corner....I predict between December 10 and January 23. Buy now. (However, I pray I'm wrong)

I still don't buy into the Obama thing. If he wins I pray he'll be a good President and lives up to whatever he says. If McCain wins I pray he'll be a good President and lives up to whatever he says.
I really don't buy into the McCain = 4 more years of Bush. Personally every time I hear or read it...I chuckle. I believe that about as much as Obama is Muslim.

Some people get so easily offended when others use his middle initial...B"H"O. Why? Why get offended??? This is a free world, why can't Obama use that initial proudly and why do people get offended when others use it?
Yet...others are not allowed to be offended when people out right criticize and make a mockery out of McCain's age. I guess the old saying "What's good for the goose is good for the gander" applies here. If someone gets offended by the H in BO's name they should watch what they say about the current President and the current Republican Presidential Candidate. Really...age discrimination is just as ugly as racial discrimination which is just as ugly as religious discrimination...don't ya think? So if remarks about old age is used to try to discredit someone shouldn't others be allowed to voice their opinion about not wanting certain races rule our country without someone calling that person a racist? Then on the other hand youth and inexperience can lead to poor judgment and unwise decisions just as much as old age....hmmm....interesting thought....maybe it is the youth and inexperience that makes Obama a poor orator when the teleprompter is not in front of him?

I believe that Obama is an active Christian...I may be wrong but it is my opinion...at least he was an active member of a church who believes in Christ...personally, I would think that faith and belief would push non-believers (atheists) away. Then again, another one of my opinions is that he isn't a very good Christian so maybe that is why he is so attractive to non-believers.

Overall...I know Obama will be our next President...sit back and watch...stop worrying. (If this prediction is wrong, I'll recant my skyrocketing oil prices prediction.)
What I do see here in this forum is a lot of people that won't be helping him win the Presidency...myself included. My vote will be going to McCain.

McCain is not 4 more years of Bush

By the way....It is the "Figurative" that scares people

All I want to know is where did he get the $$$$$ to purchase a 757? I want to know what public service job pays that kind of money. If "devoting your life to helping the less fortunate" pays that much....where do I sign?

One other thing...being he is using it for business (campaigning and political stuff)...can he write the cost of the 757 and fuel used flying around off on his taxes??? If yes...that is one great true blue American idea right there. :) (God Bless America!!!!...oh yeah...and it's tax payers)
