About as much as Al Gore and the rest of the $$$$ politicians.....seriously... ;) Oil is relatively down right now but skyrocketing prices are around the corner....I predict between December 10 and January 23. Buy now. (However, I pray I'm wrong)

I still don't buy into the Obama thing. If he wins I pray he'll be a good President and lives up to whatever he says. If McCain wins I pray he'll be a good President and lives up to whatever he says.
I really don't buy into the McCain = 4 more years of Bush. Personally every time I hear or read it...I chuckle. I believe that about as much as Obama is Muslim.

Some people get so easily offended when others use his middle initial...B"H"O. Why? Why get offended??? This is a free world, why can't Obama use that initial proudly and why do people get offended when others use it?
Yet...others are not allowed to be offended when people out right criticize and make a mockery out of McCain's age. I guess the old saying "What's good for the goose is good for the gander" applies here. If someone gets offended by the H in BO's name they should watch what they say about the current President and the current Republican Presidential Candidate. Really...age discrimination is just as ugly as racial discrimination which is just as ugly as religious discrimination...don't ya think? So if remarks about old age is used to try to discredit someone shouldn't others be allowed to voice their opinion about not wanting certain races rule our country without someone calling that person a racist? Then on the other hand youth and inexperience can lead to poor judgment and unwise decisions just as much as old age....hmmm....interesting thought....maybe it is the youth and inexperience that makes Obama a poor orator when the teleprompter is not in front of him?

I believe that Obama is an active Christian...I may be wrong but it is my opinion...at least he was an active member of a church who believes in Christ...personally, I would think that faith and belief would push non-believers (atheists) away. Then again, another one of my opinions is that he isn't a very good Christian so maybe that is why he is so attractive to non-believers.

Overall...I know Obama will be our next President...sit back and watch...stop worrying. (If this prediction is wrong, I'll recant my skyrocketing oil prices prediction.)
What I do see here in this forum is a lot of people that won't be helping him win the Presidency...myself included. My vote will be going to McCain.

McCain is not 4 more years of Bush

By the way....It is the "Figurative" that scares people

All I want to know is where did he get the $$$$$ to purchase a 757? I want to know what public service job pays that kind of money. If "devoting your life to helping the less fortunate" pays that much....where do I sign?

One other thing...being he is using it for business (campaigning and political stuff)...can he write the cost of the 757 and fuel used flying around off on his taxes??? If yes...that is one great true blue American idea right there. :) (God Bless America!!!!...oh yeah...and it's tax payers)

Fair enough, but what are the real policy differences then?

In any policy question, he basically admits he is. Again, please point out the differences??

Not my job to to show you. You want policy differences you'll have to do the research yourself. It's obvious that no one wants to do that research for you.

I believe more in McCain...end of story.

(Whoever wins...will have my full respect!)

What's obvious to me is that the fact that no one will list any major difference is because they can't find any!!!....Quite simply, there aren't any major differences! (ok...ok...Maybe they have a different favorite ice cream flavor, but, come to think about it......... I think they both like coffee!)
(that is the major hurtle that McCain realizes he has to overcome, & an impossible one to "jump" since it is the truth.......As far as domestic , economic, foreign policies, thinking & even projected Cabinet,.....McCain will be GW Bush's third term)

I'm a coffee drinker myself, coffee flavored ice cream is my favorite....just another reason to vote McCain. :)

The campaign owns and pays the bills on the plane, it has nothing to do with the candidates personal finances. And he is raking in TONS of money!

No.....What should be obvious is that no one is willing to waste their time trying to prove a negative that doesn't exist. How much time would you be willing to waste researching the question: " Is the actor Clint Eastwood really a Martian?"

(about as much time as anyone is willing to waste trying to prove that GW Bush & John McCain's Presidency would be the slightest bit different.

When you get to the point to be able to predict the future like you keep claiming to with statements like: "John McCain's Presidency would be the slightest bit different"

I suggest you put your predicting abilities toward predicting the next winning lottery numbers.. it will be efforts better rewarded.

Thanks for the clarification. That is actually what I assumed.

However, upon completion of the campaign, the 757 goes to whom? The Democratic Party? The one who donated the most? Or is it a raffle amongst the filthy rich donators? :)
Or being that Obama is a liberal Democrat is he and his campaign going to donate it to the less fortunate so they can fly to Disney on the Democratic Party's dime?

(just having fun with this) :)

You know you are dancing around the subject Mike because you have no answer to my question. :dancing:

Let's take Obama vs McCain (off the top of my head...No research needed)
On almost any subject (from how to end the occupation of Iraq to health care to abortion to energy policy to economics to how to deal with Iran to Windfall profits tax on big oil to ..........You pick the subject), there are very clear major differences between Obama's plans/ideas & McCain/Bush.

Why can't someone take 20 seconds & write one sentence, like I just did showing the Bush McCain differences?

Why?....Because there aren't any differences & you guys know it!

Bush Is McCain ....... McCain Is Bush
