I have decieded to get the pocono top vent , I have a 6'' stainless steel I believe tripple wall pipe will this work to vent the coal stove ???? also my house is around 1600 sq feet 2 story will this stove be enough btu for upstste NY ?? I don't want to use the oil furnace anymore !!

The 6" stainless will work, but I can't answer the questions on the heating value without all of the info. Insulation, windows, where the stove is going to be placed etc. The Pocono isn't much to look at, but it's a good heater.

I'm going to put it in the basement (so plain is just fine) my house is insulated well,basement uninsulated.windows arn't to bad I have replaced half of them.my house is 1500 sq feet, my oil furnace is 140,000 input ,112,000

Hi scotty,congrats.on your purchase.i have stove in basement connected to duct work fha furnace.it heated 1200 sq.ft.very well last season as far as venting i leave that to the experts.you stove should do quite well for your needs.
