I just heard that our hard working forum member Matthaus is very ill.. He is usually a 'work for 22 hours, every day' kind of guy.. Well Matt got sick Monday, and spent Tuesday in bed [unheard of], His wife Hope took him to the doctor's office Wednesday, who sent him to the hospital, Matt spent Wednesday night and Thursday morning at the hospital,, all kinds of tests.. it was determined it was a viral infection a MRI test was offered but declined.. Matt went home Thrusday night..but was no better this morning.

This morning, Friday, Hope took Matt to a different Hospital where a MRI was done, and a tumor on the Pituitary gland, in the base of the brain was discovered.. Matt is being taken to a Philadelphia hospital [sorry I can't remember the name] tonight.. Surgery to be scheduled ASAP..

So.. let's all keep Matthaus and Hope in our thoughts and prayers..

Praying for a speedy and full recovery...
Greg L

Damn! I just exchanged PM's with him Monday about burning buck in a Harman stoker. I hope he gets as good a prognosis as Gambler did. You just never know anymore. I'm not a big "prayer" but I'll keep him in my thoughts and send alot of positive energy his way.

Damn that sucks. As I mentioned in Gambler's thread I had a brother with a brain tumor so I know at least what his family is going through. One thing that is great is they are having a lot of success treating it. If you read this Matt, good luck.
