I see on ebay there are a couple of different Dwyer Mark II's for sale, what is the difference between them and is one better then the other?

Both of those have the right scale.. the nearly horizontal section of the fluid-filled scale is from 0.00" -0.1 -0.2 and then curves up to a max of 3.0" of wc..

Your readings will be in the first inch of the fluid filled tube.. you will be reading between 0.0 to 0.1.. most stoves need 0.04-0.06" of wc..

The other manometers have a much higher scale,, up to 6" or 10.0" so reading the meter to see 0.05" is virtually impossible..

Either one of those will do the job..

There was a guy selling in 'ebay stores' the MarkII, model 25 for $20+ shipping,, but maybe he has sold them all.

Jay, you really dont want to use the Mark 26 unless it is virtually free.. the scale is double.. 0" to 7"wc,[instead of 0"-3"wc] , The 0.0 to 0.1 scale is only 1/2" long.. On te Mark 25 the 0.0 to 0.1 scale is about 1 1/4" long,, MUCH easier to read..

Greg I use A Mark II 26 Same size as the Mark II 25 Except mine goes to 6 instead of 3 I have Blue fluid witch is heavier
Then The Red in the 25 I think you are Talking about the 27 & 28 Like Matt had Mine is Not The same as them Look
on The Link Mine you would read 0 to IIII .1 It is Not That hard

While we're talking about these.... there is a double tube. For our use we only use the negative pressure one Stuck in the stove pipe or chimney? Just let the other hang loose?

Hi Freddy, yes that is correct.. the Manometers are for measuring slight amounts of vacuum and pressure for many different applications..
