Screwed up the PC too by laying on the keyboard, had to reboot. Usually I move her right off of it, but I wanted the picture...

You know John, a trained investigator can learn allot about you from as little info as what's in that photo:

1. Still using a CRT monitor........Shows you are a frugal man
2. A red telephone ........obviously a direct line to the White House (a dial "Princess" Phone??- very frugal)
3. An electronic timer or thermometer.......probably with humidity reading as well if thermometer
4. Pill bottle.........Obviously the tranquilizers you need to pop when you read my political posts
5. Stereo computer speakers........set to close together to give a good "sound stage" for stereo
6. Ernst Stavro Blofeld's (SPECTRE) black cat.....obviously evil things are planned at that computer!
7. Mortise work on your shelf shows "Overkill"........You like things built solid!

All I have time for right now!

They makw software to prevent that, I believe when it senses a bunch of randomly pushed buttons it makes a loud noise.

Depends, some CRT's like the one I have sell for premium price especially since they don't make them anymore. LCD's are just now getting to the point where they can produce a picture as good as a premium CRT.

Sony 21 Inch Trinitron Multiscan E500 Monitor, $900 refurbished.

I have the 19 inch and those are very tough to find even refurbished.

Yea but the precious desktop "real estate" that they take up is relegating them to "Dinosaur" status.

1) Yes, it's a Gateway 2000 CRT from 1994. I'll replace it when it finally dies, I see CRT monitors being discarded everywhere, I'm sure many of them still work fine. When this one finally quits--no one will want it!

2) It is a Princess phone, but it's touch-tone (the desk dial phone is in the living room).

3) It's a caller-id unit

4) Correct again---it's Xanax, anxiety disorders are wonderful.

5) Yep, correct again.

6) The annoying black cat, "Sofe", also known as "Shithead".

7) Correct again on my little shelf.

Very good observation, Devil.

Regarding your comment about your desk being messier then mine...see the photo below (which I post despite the fact that I am embarrassed by the condition of the desk and surrounding area).
