I notice if I remove the sheet metal cover allowing access to the blower, and cam arm for the worm feed, I can pull the cleanout lever further than if I have the sheet metal cover on. The lever hits the sheet meal cover and stops the lever from about 1 to 2 inches short of full range.
Is this OK? I'm new to this and I want to make sure I am redirecting the air to properly clean the fines from the burn pot.
