Obama does not "feel superior"....That is just the latest spin out of the McCain camp. (you know...Sen. John McCain---the multi-millionaire, "regular guy"who wears $1500.00 shoes..
...That guy) BTW........How much did you pay for your shoes?
My shoes? Walmart. On sale. If McCain wants to waste HIS money on HIS shoes, it might make me roll my eyes as a waste, but it is HIS money, not mine, and so his shoes are not my business. I don't envy them. Now if McCain wanted to spend tax money to buy shoes for the "non-working-class" then I would squawk.
Anyone can listen to BOs words and decide for themselves. There is no need for any "spin". To me, the words, and especially the matter-of-fact way ("we all know this is self-evident, etc.") in which they are said reveal the snobbery and dismissive contempt that BO feels for the middle class. I think BO watched the movie "Deliverance" when he was a kid, and he mistook it for a documentary of how "Whitey (as Mrs BO so charmingly puts it)" behaves or secretly wants to behave everywhere that is not the "Big City"
If you had terminal cancer, wouldn''t you be willing to take a chance & trade that cancer for a different, less known disease? One that was less likely to kill you?
I guess you have not seen someone die of cancer then, because equating it to 8 years of McCain is not a reasoned comparison. If you want to equate voting for McCain as impotence, and voting for BO as dementia, I can go for that. I'd rather be limp than crazy. Heck, the guy who made the "read a book" video (not safe for work language) that is on youtube has more useful ideas and a more intelligent message then BO. Less arrogant, too.
And I really wish Condoleezza Rice or Shelby Steele had run on the Republican side. There would be a lot of
watching leftist contortions as they try to both denounce these two as "Uncle Toms" for daring to be Republicans, while trying to keep the white sheet from peeking out under their free range certified organic hemp robes.
