Robert Mitchum on Vietnam

I saw this on another site I frequent. I thought it's pretty relevant to today's world events. This guy, John Wayne and others are one of the many reasons I volunteered to be a paratrooper in 1972. Yeah, I know, just another 'brainwashed' kid. Truth be told if I had it to do over again I would've pushed myself and got my butt through Ranger training also. I guess my attitude hasn't changed much in 35 years.

Yeah bugsy, he got it exactly right. Hadji just wants us dead and are willing to sacrifice themselves for Allah. One of their 'rewards' is receiving 72 virgins. I wish I was younger I would be more than willing to help them earn their reward.

The 72 virgins thing isn't real, it lost something in the translation. All they will get is one 72 year old virgin.
