2 hi-lifts trucks, 1972 F-250 and extras.

Serious inquiries only, this is a package deal. I will not split the large truck from it. The F-250 I will split but that's not going to save you much. I do not have any really good pictures but I'll describe as best I can, new pictures can be made for those interested or even some video.

  • 1986 Merecedes 1117 Turbo, 300K miles, 25,000 GVW .

      What it has:
    • 1952 Marion hi-lift with a 5 ton capacity.
    • Plenty of power and excellent fuel mileage and runs like a timex. Very quiet, its only slightly louder than regular truck with the muffler off....seriously.
    • Excellent fuel mileage. I never calculated the fuel mileage but if you filled it with about 40 gallons of fuel you could run around with for at least two very long working days. I think my uncle calculated once and if I remember correctly it was somewhere in the neighborhood of 10MPG but I can't be sure of that. I know its better than just about any truck.
    • Parts for this truck are available through Freightliner, I have never had an issue getting them. Most were shipped and received in 2 or 3 days. Some took a week and they do have overnight service. You should still be able to get anything but I cannot guarantee that. The downside is they are expensive however major components rarely break.
    • Exhaust brake, the rear brakes were changed around 200K and will be good for the life of the vehicle. The front brakes have never been changed and will probably need it soon.
    • Frames good as is mostly everything else mechanically, I'm not aware of any major mechanical issues on the truck.
    • Top speed is almost 70mph and you can pull a full load up any hill on the interstate about 45-50.
    • Truthfully you will not find a better truck for this job, it turns on a dime. Pick-up trucks do not have the turning radius this truck has.
    • Many smaller items including filters and a brand new fuel tank that has not been installed.
    • Frames good as is mostly everything else mechanically, I'm not aware of any major issues other than the body rot .
    • The bed and half the box is lined with stainless steel.
    • Complete set of shop manuals.

      What it needs:
    • Extensive body work on the front quarter panels. You will need to have some body work knowledge or have someone fix it if you want to run this truck. It is well worth the investment because it runs that good. I haven't looked but you may be able to buy new panels but they will be outrageously expensive.
    • Needs new rear tires, the fronts should have few miles on them.
    • Needs batteries.
    • The lift on this truck should be completely dismantled and refurbished. The box needs work too. The back gate is completely new though and heavily built. I'm selling it as "parts" if you use this lift immediately in a working environment you truthfully are putting your life at risk. However if its dismantled and fixed properly you it'll be good for another 15 or 20 years.

I will emphasize the cab and lift needs a lot of work, it's not a small project. If you have the time and means to fix it you will not be disappointed.

Both of these images are from many years ago, the truck is not in this condition now.

  • 1978 Internationl Loadstar DT466 Turbo 31,000 GVW

      What it has:
    • This truck can be put into service today.
    • Cab, frame, lift and all other major components are in good to excellent condition. The cab has no major rust problems. The hood is fiberglass.
    • 1968 Marion hi-lift with a 7 ton capacity the box. This is the crown jewel in this whole deal. This lift has been rarely used in the last 20 years. It sat in a garage for at least 10 years for the first part of that 20 years and was used almost exclusively in the summer and fall for the latter part of the ten years. Possibly 50,000 miles on the truck during this time most of it very long hauls so even then it has been rarely used. Everything on this lift is near perfect condition except the box. The box itself has very little rot on it. What is wrong with it was that the first owner flipped it over and the one corner is little out of whack. When it was flipped the arms and pistons also got bent and were replaced. I do not know there age but it's the box and base that is a 1968. You really need to look at this lift to appreciate it. Many have taken this same lift and put 10 boxes on them, it's that big. You will not find a better lift of this size in this condition anywhere unless you get one made new. A new lift of this size will cost $35K+++ brand new.
    • Good tires all the way around, the rears have about 10K on them with a lot of rubber left.
    • The bed and half the box is lined with stainless steel.
    • I do not know the mileage but its a lot. It was rebuilt before we purchased it and we put about 50,000 on it. The motor runs very strong.

      What it needs:
    • Batteries
    • Other assorted small items.

The international is on the left.

  • 1972 Ford F-250 300 6 cyl .
    • Approx. 60,000 original miles.
    • Runs great.
    • The box is shot but that's because there was a steel bed installed in it when it was purchased The sides are actually in very good shape with practically no rust whatsoever. This truck was ziebarted when it was purchased. between that and getting very little use it's in not so bad of shape. The cab on the interior is perfect, the seat has been covered since it was purchased and is absolutely perfect.. The body on the cab is decent condition with very little rot. The roof needs work but is not rotted out. Would be good for fixer upper or to be parted out for collectors.
    • Can't be driven at the moment, needs brakes and the box fixed or removed primarily.
  • Extras:
    • I'll also be providing my old customer list of with 400+ names that were active purchasers less than 2 years ago. 80% of them are within a 20 mile radius of Tunkhannock and of that 50% would be North of route 6. Most were full load easy dumps. There's an additional 150 customers or so that were inactive. This list has not been given to anyone however they most certainly have a new vendor by now.
    • I also have 2 completely rebuilt unused hydraulic pumps waiting to go.
    • Lots of aluminum chutes in half decent shape, these are quite expensive. There's na ssortment from short chutes to a special stainless chute I have for terra cotta pipe.
  • The Bonus Round
    • I will provide a few days of instruction on how to use the lift if you require it. This is knowledge you cannot get anywhere. There's literally hundreds of tips and tricks I will be able to show you. Truthfully I can do the work of 2 guys. If you are out of state you will have to provide lodging.
    • I'll be adding a paid for business directory to this website shortly. You will get a permanent place in it at no charge forever.
    • One year of advertising in one of the forums and all the threads in it where the Google ads currently are.
    • A 4 or 5 page website designed and hosted by me for one year. $120 a year after that.

$25,000 OBO as-is , again most of this expense has to do with the 7 ton lift I cannot emphasize enough what good shape this lift is in. I'll make no guarantees as to the mechanical shape of these trucks. I only say that bout the international because...who knows. nothing that I'm aware of though. What I will guarantee is that the 7 ton lift is in perfect working condition.

Please do not contact me unless you are completely serious. If you are out of sate and need pictures I'll get them. For that matter I'll provide video.
