Stoker Gear Oil
Industrial Gear Oil AGMA 6EP
Attention: Prolonged or repeated skin contact may cause oil
acne or dermatitis. Avoid prolonged or repeated contact
with eyes, skin and clothing. Wash thoroughly after handling.

Please Note:
The four bolts, 3/8” X 1 ¾”, for mounting the stoker fan housing to the stoker base are located in the small parts box which is packed within this box.

Stoker Gearbox Vent Plug
After the Stoker fan housing assembly is permanently installed, remove the pipe plug from the uppermost surface of the (gray) gear-reducing unit of the fan housing assembly and install the brass vent plug in its place.
Coal Pipe Coupler and Ash Door Handle
The coal pipe coupler is shipped within this box. The pipe coupler set screws, ash door hinge bolts/nuts and the ash door handle are located inside this container, in the stoker parts box in small plastic bags.

Oil Pan and Gear Drive Lubrication
The oil pan, which is mounted under the coal feed gears on the stoker housing, must be filled to the proper level with the oil supplied in the pint can before using the stoker.

The cleanout cover wedges, which affect the tension of the cleanout lever, will be bent and out of adjustment if the bottom of the pot assembly is set upon the floor. Place the pot on the floor with the burner plates facing downward to avoid this.

This connecting rod has been precisely adjusted at the factory. DO NOT LIFT THIS UNIT BY USING THE CONNECTING ROD. If the rod is replaced in the future, it must again be properly adjusted.
