Keep the posts on topic!

As I've said before I'm aware threads will wander however its getting a little out of hand. Keep your posts within the topic. If they don't fit start a new one.

I just spent about an hour cleaning up a mess. Posts have been split or removed. All that were locked are now unlocked. As I've said numerous times things will wander but its getting out of hand. It takes only one off hand comment to send it spiraling out of control and the next thing is we are discussing Jimmy Carter and the failed Iranian rescue instead of the original topic which is oil prices. Nothing *censored* me off more than to start reading a thread on another forum and it just starts getting interesting and down to the nitty gritty and BAMMO no more information on what I want but a bunch of unrelated garbage I have to sift through.

I'm not going to allow that to happen here.

If someone makes a off hand comment that doesn't relate to the topic at hand, quote them and start a new topic. Do Not Reply in the same one.

I don't care about the what, how or why that is discussed here but I want threads to remain reasonably on topic.

Sorry Mayor.
I was part of the problem.
I was starting the new thread after you locked it!
But it got messy.
Thanks for merging them all!
