But it will be real easy to perform on that new job as well as he has performed on all his others!

(just to make this post relevant, I posted it to show who Sen. McCain has voted with over 90% of the time & whose policies will be continued for the next 4 years if we elect McCain)

Dick, don't write your assumptions as fact:

"& whose policies will be continued for the next 4 years if we elect McCain)"

You have no clue what McCain will do when elected.

But we do know what Obama will be doing: still learning his way around the Government.. He'll be like Jimmy Carter,, wandering around, bumping into walls writing 'feel-good' legislation, like giving Social Security to anyone over 65, even if they never paid a penny into the SS system.. Which is bankrupting the SS system. Remember the Economy under Jimmy?? Gas lines, 16.5% interest rates, highest unemployment in recent history. The company I worked for went under during that time because of Jimmies price and wage freeze economics.. Brilliant!!

McCain is NOT Bush.. McCain is NOT Bush.

Fair point Greg. But, from here on in, you can all assume that everything I post is just my opinion &, if I am stating a provable fact, I will so identify it. Fair enough? (btw, just because something is an opinion doesn't mean it is wrong.) :)

LsFarm wrote:You have no clue what McCain will do when elected

Of course we all do Greg. I take the man at his word & he has told us what he plans on doing....& that is "staying" GW Bush's course on every issue/policy!

(unless he is just another liar, in which case he will truly be Bush's 3rd term!)

Go to Obama's website and listen to the man speak. He is very intelligent, positive and inspiring. Listen to MCcain speak and he sounds like an idiot compared to Obama. MCcain has a record of not getting along well with others. Not a trait you want in a president who needs to bring his peers toghether to get things done. An example of his character is when MCcain made fun of Chelsea Clinton - saying she was ugly and that Janet Reno was her father. That statement alone tells me the man has poor judgement. Can u imagine being a teenager and seeing a quote from a political figure saying that you're ugly. Believe me that this incident speaks volumes on MCcain's mean spirited nature and poor judgement. I'd rather hear he had an affair then bashed a teenager. It's amazing that our nation would overlook these comments and not nail him to the wall.

Go to U-tube and watch some of Bill Clinton's speaches, and his testamony before the senate.. He was smooth, a great speaker, inspiring and all that.. But as we also know he was a crook, and probably a felon.. all the time he and Hilary were in the Whit House, the Rose Law firm records were hiding under her bed.

So Don't confuse smooth and good speaking ability for integrity and good intentions... Hell most used car salesmen are pretty smooth too.

Oh man!! ....I guess you & Rush haven't heard the news........Bill Clinton has been out of office for 8 years already!! Is your point that all smooth, inspiring talkers are felons & that only rich, poorly spoken, uninspiring oil men or graduates of Annapolis who graduate 894th out of 898 are to be believed? :?:
( for your information, I never voted for Clinton & solemnly promise not to vote for him this November!)

Edit:

BTW, would you want to have a heart surgeon who graduated 894th out of 898 medical school graduates operate on your son or daughter? :fear:

I sure wouldn't!

Olympians Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh thank President Bush after their gold medal victory against the Chinese.

You guys really do love to argue about politics. This dam presidential election started two years ago. Personally I'm tired of the constant election coverage. Every politician should be sent to a gulag for a couple of years for subjecting the country to this two year barrage of BS. Can Canada annex us? PLEASE. :)

I bought my first house then. 18% interest. 2 years into the Reagan administration I refinanced at 12%. Before the end of Reagan's first term I got a 7% home equity loan and paid off the 12% mortgage.

Ever wonder why the economy goes bad every leap year?

After almost 8 years of GW Bush I think the country would be happy to settle for Jimmy Carter again. (at least we were at peace, could still get a good job, heat your home & we still had the twin Trade Center Towers standing.....that GW's negligence allowed to fall!!. Remember??.......right after receiving a CIA warning that Bin Ladin planned an attack within the US...GW Bush takes the entire month of August off on vacation....The very next month......9/11!)
How is that Jimmy Carter is to blame for all the economic & military woes of his time in office & yet GW Bush & John McCain are blameless now??

The Federal reserve determines the liquidity or lack of it in this country. The Fed during the Carter admin, at that time, was hawkish on inflation. The current Federal reserve is more intersted in keeping the stock market afloat. Cheap money and risky loan programs has killed the housing market and is responsible for record level foreclosures and near recession. Clinton happen to be president during the Interent bubble. People were feeling rich because stocks were swelling and in turn stimulated the economy.
