Chat rooms are great when they are moderated or everyone steps on each other and it gets out of hand. It's also works best, imho, when there is a topic to focus on and members submit questions to the moderator. It would be cool to have guests and do shows. My wife is doing that now with streaming video. Edtech live..

Coming at some point. I'm busy with other things at the moment. I could install a Ajax chat module pretty quick but those are pretty cheesy and the quick and easy ones are not in house. Right now I'm leaning towards either IRC or Openfire .

I don't know....This format is almost instantaneous & works fine for me. Chat rooms never seem to allow you to get a word in edgewise & I couldn't bare the thought of having Freddy PM me & ask .... "What are you wearing?!?"

Speaking of Freddy I haven't seen an update on his new boiler. I'll have to PM him.
