It's the best American beer around, family-owned as well.

Ain't no Yuengling Bee-ah Hee-ah in New England, one must head southward.
If you go for bee-ah you might as well pick up some coal too!

It is available in my area (Canadian border of NY), although the selection is limited to the lager, light lager, and black & tan. I took the tour through the Pottsville brewery three years ago, very interesting and tasty samples at the end.

Reading these posts on Yuengling it just struck me as funny how things change. Growing up & spending most of my life in the Pittsburgh area Yuengling was always around but was never the beer of choice. In fact it was considered to be a lower quaility than other local beers, most of which are no longer around or have been bought out by others. I don`t know if it`s always been good & advertising less than desireable or that taste buds change as we get older. I enjoy it now, I can`t imagine that they changed anything, sure wish it was good back when it was a cheap beer. Just my luck.

Have you noticed more large tractor devices in the avatars since I took my traction engine down????

Since my short trip to Fairbanks this summer -- this is now my brew of choice.

Farthest north micro brewery in the 50 USA states.... Even those that don't like beer have tasted this and asked for a glass - sorry I only brought back 4 cases.....But very glad that Rosie O'donal on PMS  - ( we met her at the Canadian Border - What a PIA for a crossing guard  ) didn't confiscate it.

In my travels to Tenn, Virginia and Pa, I have found the Lager, Light and Black and Tan.

I can not find the Premium Lager, Ale and Porter. I would really like to try these.

Do they only produce these occasionally? I am getting thirsty and impatient!

Mine is a picture of my brothers Fiat Allis 21C dozer, the plow on the back is used to install drainage tile. It weighs 48 tons without the front counter weight
