Your oil burner flue should be fine for the Mark.
Take some pictures up the flue.
Is the flue inside or outside the house?

alright so im one step closer to connecting this thing and firing it up... when I do ill post some pictures. thanks again everyone for ur help.
question... does this quote seem right?
- new chimney liner for the entire flue, from the basement through the 1st, 2nd floor, attic and about 6 feet above the roof. ~50 ft.
- relocate the coal stove and move into place
- duct in stainless steel into the new chimney liner using 6" pipe.
- install barometric damper
$1700
also, I found 2 metal trash cans filled with coal from the last owner. any idea how much this is in terms of weight? I figure maybe 1/3-1/2 a ton.
thanks again! hopefully ill be rocking by next week!
