Got married in 1991, E-5 in the Navy, wife stayed home and raised our 2 daughters. She decided in 2002 to go back to work part time (minimum wage). I was an E-7 by then. I always laughed at my peers that said they "would never be able to survive if their wives didn't work full time." Of course they had nicer toys than I, with bigger bills...
Adapt and over come. As a consumer, Live smart or go bankrupt (unless you are actually looking forward to moving back in with your parents...personally....I'd rather sit here and lick razor blades than to do that).
