Kodiak Stove Information

just looking for help I have bought aKodiak stove probably 7 years ago and was told that it burnedwood and coal never burned coal in it always wood unfamiliar with burning coal ,but with the price of oil and the lack of reasonably price wood Iam concidering burning coal,Ihave been reading this web site alot in the last month educating my self and it just seems pratical coal is my future way of heating my house I think in the spring I want to put in a coal boiler in along side of my oil burner as aprimary source of energy but Ihave too much on my plate right now forthat but this Kodiak stove that I bought at a yard sale I have little information on with it came these two metal angles that fit in the perfectly just wondering anybody knows anything about this stove it also has a sunrise on the door if anybody has any information on this stoveit would be appreciated
