Delivery of DF 520

Ordered a DF 520 in late May and still not able to get a delivery date.. is this normal? is EFM having delivery problems? What are others experiencing?

Call me at 610 965 9041 and I will be able to give you a good idea when you'll get it. We are shipping out on a regular basis now, but we are way behind. Something ordered now, might not be seen until December.

Stoker demand has been static for many years, but suddenly this year, due to high oil prices, the demand has increased five to tenfold in just a few months. It takes a lot of ramp-up time to have numerous iron castings made at the foundary, have them machined, painted, and built, not to mention the building of the extra boilers. On the good side, everything is made within the company in PA, except for some castings and their machining, which are also done in PA.

Other coal product manufacturers are probably in the same or worse condition for filling orders.
