They only work something less than 1/4 of what the average person works now, if we could just get it down to a week or 2 per year think of our money they wont spend!

According to the national polls it's a tight race right now. A few tidbits - MacCain was almost at the bottom of his graduating class. MacCain called Chelsea Clinton ugly and that she was fatered by Janet Reno. McCain is a decorated pilot who was awarded many medals and spent over 5 years in a POW camp. McCain is old. Born in 1936. Obama is young with new ideas and graduated from Harvard and was a civil rights lawyer. McCain is old school - Obama in new school. I don't want more of the same so my choice is easy.

I have more dollars in my wallet than Obamma has days in Washington.. I'll take experience instead of an upstart, wet-behind the ears, vote pandering flip flopping, disloyal [I never listened to Rev Wright, in all the 20 years I attended his church] candidate.

Neither candidate is much good, but Obamma is scary,, I have many regular Democrat voters who are scared of him a president,, I agree..

As stated above, Ron Paul is the only realistic candidate, and unfortunately he hasn't a chance..

Obama has voted farther left than Ted Kennedy. I don't want anyone that far left or a far righter for that matter, in the White house. To bad Ron Paul has no chance

Obama is only one of 5 black Senators. That is pretty cool. We all have our opinions and that is what makes America great. You could be right about Obama and I could be right about MCcain.

As a proud member of the Coal Burner's Brotherhood, I have a suggestion to make to my brothers:

Being as we coal burners are a very independent lot that don't just instinctively follow the herd, do the PC thing & fear our own shadows, why are we even considering sticking with the terrible choices our respective political parties have given us this year?
When the only choice most of our fellow countrymen can see to heat their homes is a conventional one (oil, natural gas, electric or propane) we aren't afraid to "think outside the box", take a different route, do a little work & save money by heating with coal. I propose that, instead of constantly bickering amongst ourselves & struggling to come up with a vote we can live with, why don't we harness some of our energy & courage, do a little "legwork" & agree to do the unconventional........ Find our own candidate that we can actually be happy to vote for this November? (he won't win, but so what!.....At least we will have done the right thing & will be able to look at ourselves in the mirror while shaving!)
I have no great allegiance to Sen. Obama & I have not heard any great love of McCain on the other side here either. I suggest that neither the Democratic or the Republican Parties have done a thing to help us in recent years......So why should we help them?
I could vote for Ron Paul, a libertarian or someone else that would make me proud rather than ashamed to vote this year, & I'm not going to be intimidated into voting for someone just because some "Talking Head" warns me about the dire consequences resulting from me not voting for their man this year!
I really know nothing about Ron Paul other than his anti-war stance which has really been a very strong attraction to me. The only thing I have against Bob Barr was his "Cheerleader" party role during the partisan Clinton impeachment fiasco that cost us taxpayers millions for absolutely nothing! I would have to say that as of right now, Ron Paul would be my choice.
Let's hear some other ideas.

I think some Americans fear Obama because they think he will turn this country into a socailists state and raise taxes through the roof. I've only heard one deabte with Hilary Clinton so I don't have enough information on how he will deal with all the issues. I'll wait for the debates to make my deciscion wither for Obama or I just won't vote. I know I don't want McCain.
