Just got it.

I'm digging it.

I'll report back after using it for a day or two.

I've read an article on this, its suposed to have a "privacy" feature that allows you greater control. Something similar was announced for IE8.

The "New Tab Page" may be a no no if you have the wife checking up on which porn sites you visit most. :bop:

The Firefox 3.0 isn't so bad.

control+shift+n That takes you into incognito mode
You've gone incognito. Pages you view in this window won't appear in your browser history or search history, and they won't leave other traces, like cookies, on your computer after you close the incognito window. Any files you download or bookmarks you create will be preserved, however.

Going incognito doesn't affect the behavior of other people, servers, or software. Be wary of:
Websites that collect or share information about you
Internet service providers or employers that track the pages you visit
Malicious software that tracks your keystrokes in exchange for free smileys
Surveillance by secret agents
People standing behind you

That must be in reference to their own services. Legal Mumbo Jumbo like that is common for any site that allows users to upload content like this one :P . Stronger language like that is generally on sites like youtube and more importantly for those of you that use them photo and file sharing sites.

One thing to note is the keyword their is license. For example when you post here your granting this site what's often referred to as a "soft license". You have agreed to the terms when you registered and by clicking submit you're granting this "soft license". You do retain the copyrights to the text, images or other files. copyright has to be legally transferred, e.g lawyers and signed documents.

They must have changed it already because I can't find that anywhere in the EULA: http://www.google.com/chrome/intl/en/eula_text.html

Closest is the exact opposite:

9.4 Other than the limited license set forth in Section 11, Google acknowledges and agrees that it obtains no right, title or interest from you (or your licensors) under these Terms in or to any Content that you submit, post, transmit or display on, or through, the Services, including any intellectual property rights which subsist in that Content (whether those rights happen to be registered or not, and wherever in the world those rights may exist). Unless you have agreed otherwise in writing with Google, you agree that you are responsible for protecting and enforcing those rights and that Google has no obligation to do so on your behalf

and

11. Content license from you

11.1 You retain copyright and any other rights you already hold in Content which you submit, post or display on or through, the Services

I love Firefox, been using it for a long time, and I try to go the opposite way of the masses...kind of like burning coal.

Chrome is poised as a browser when it's really more of an OS. Kinda like Alien. There have been some significant security issues reported both by the black hat and white hat communities. I'd stay far away for now...

Do we *really* need another browser?

The question I posed was the single most posted question on Chrome....I found it funny.

Just because you can...doesn't mean you should!
