Hand Fed Coal Stove: Hearthmate

Post by japar » Thu. Sep. 04, 2008 9:22 pm

I was watching this stove on ebay #290255913663 because it was the same make and model less blower fan that I had picked up for my dad in August off of craigslist . I paid $250, I was the first to e-mail the seller and it took a week for him to get the stove but he had saved it for me. He said he got another 20 e-mails and told me he thinks he could have gotten more . Just wondering what a good used wood or coal stove will bring in Nov or Dec

Who knows! Then again its ebay. Folks get hit with the ebay bug often. Pay more than its worth. I've done it. I'm keeping my eyes out for some used rims on ebay for my motorcycle. For $80 more I can go buy brand new ones from the dealer. I'm sure there are some deals but I'm just not finding them.

looks almost exactly like the one I bought but mine is bigger, a c-80. I paid $300 (in june)and it was delivered to my basement. I think I spent about $100 replacing misc. parts, gaskets, fire brick, and new flue pipe and baro damper. chimney is scheduled to be built soon, coal bin is built. just need to find coal :o
