I can't believe how excited I am about black stove pipe!
I just picked up (at H.Depot) :
(1) 24" $12.98
(1) 48" $19.98
(1) 90* Elbow- $15.98
of "Simpson" Duravent black 6" stove pipe & man are they nice!!

Already assembled. (never had anything but that thin crap that you have to fight (& get a blood transfusion) to make into a round pipe!)
Heavier gauge sheet metal than I ever used b4!

I'm a happy camper!

I usually have to replace them every 2 years or so, due to rust starting. These look like they should last a bit longer.

Hate to dirty them up with fly ash.......but I will!

Why don't you take it back later today, ... after the rush wears off? And go back tomorrow and have at it again. Pleasure like that is hard to come by :!:

Black stove pipe at Home Despot? My 3 local HD's only have the extra thin razor sharp stuff.

Loews has (last year) nice black chimmny caps.

Devil, the welded stuff is nice, huh? I did the Heatfab welded 22 gage, painted it on the inside with high temp stove paint b'fore install to stop rust/corossion best effort. Consider same for yours.
