What is the "Free Republic" where that came from & who sponsors it?

Another point: I know that if I search long enough I will find many written records where Sen. McCain takes the other side on this debate. ( Like most long term Senators, McCain is smart enough to make sure there is a written record of him coming down on both sides of any issue, for future campaign ammunition....That's just S.O.P.))
Another good argument for term limits on these guys!

Edit: Blurb from Free Republic's Home Page:

"Welcome to Free Republic!
Free Republic is the premier online gathering place for independent, grass-roots conservatism on the web. We're working to roll back decades of governmental largesse, to root out political fraud and corruption, and to champion causes which further conservatism in America."

Very believable source! :nono:

My bottom line:

There is simply no logical argument that will allow for the blaming of Jimmy Carter for all the economic problems that occurred during his one term Presidency & then turn around & hold GW Bush blameless for the far worse problems that have occurred during his two terms in office, during most of which his party had control of Congress as well.

Even better, Ralph Nader predicted this exact scenario to a T in 2000.

No, but we can blame him for turning his back on our old friend and ally, The Shah of Iran. Carter said that the Ayhatolla Kohmeni was a "good" religious man and it would be good for the world. This jerk gave OBL his working orders and the rebirth of this Muslim fundementalism and Jihad. So how is that working out for you?

Jimmy Carter = your War on Terror.

Ronald Reagan = your war on terror (cut & ran from Beirut after 1983 Marine barracks bombing....No action taken against the terrorists)

If we would have four more years of George Bush, he would definitely drive the USA into being a Third World Country. But don’t worry we will still have the “Rich” self serving Republicans at the top with their perks, righteousness, oil money and influence. The rest of us can just “Eat Cake” "qu'ils mangent de la brioche." ("Let them eat cake!")

Yeah, after Jimmy gave it to him, lock, stock and barrel. McCain told him not to put the troops there! He saw it coming.

Drifting off topic here ........but I'll just point out that Ron Paul has only one modest house & is not a rich man. ;)
