Coal Quality
There coal is hit and miss at best in my opinion. Some people swear by it others swear at it 
I think of the two companys in upper luzerne and lackawanna countys Hudson does have a much more consistent product. Just a short drive outside of Wilkes - Barre down to West Hazleton is Jeddo Coal Company and Hazleton Shaft which both have good quality coal and then a little further south you have Blaschaks in Mahanoy City which has good quality coal and then further south yet you'll run into Sherman Coal just off the Hegins exit off of 81 and Summit Anthracite in Good Spring which both have good consistent coal.
