Stanley's testimony may also pose concerns for Vice President Dick Cheney, who ran Halliburton between 1995 and 2000, when Stanley was appointed as KBR's chief executive officer. Cheney has consistently denied wrongdoing.

I only hope that they keep going with this & not sweep it under the rug. I really liked the part about the Dressler-Haliburton merger being done with Cheney while on a hunting trip. I don`t think I`d ever go near him when he has a gun.

I finally can just shut up & bask (or is it Basque??) in the headlines!..(breathes deeply)....ahhh....the sweet smell of vindication :band:

(what I'm shocked about is that this story wasn't hushed up until the day after Bush pardons Scooter Libby & now Dick Cheney...for any crimes he may have committed)..Anyone wanna take that bet?

Edit: I wonder what the legal scholars think about this question: Can a President pardon himself?...We may just find out.
