Hi sandman, do a google search for US Stove and look at the Hot Blast models Your photo looks very similar.. US Stove sells several furnace models.. most are better wood burners than coal burners.. but if the price is right, and you have a good chimney, you can make it work.. With the price of fuel today and the backlog of new stoves/boilers/furnaces,, any product to help with this season's heating is a good thing.

Sandman thanks for posting for me, I figured I better register and learn what I can

I went and looked at the furnace the shaker grates were warped from too much heat, after not being able to find any info on the maker I passed on the deal, still looking for something similar for my paint shop...

Do a google search for the grates, even measure them up for a close match. There are a few stove parts joints that have a plethora of them at very reasonable prices. If they can be had it would be a shame to pass up a good deal.
