Jerry,

What are your thoughts on someone adding one of those to their coal stoves?

Adam,
I think it's a great addition. We are no longer offering them on our stoves. If the customer whats one we direct them to Automation Correct.

Jerry,

Why are you no longer offering them on your stoves? Will this void the warranty by me installing it?

Your warranty stands. It would not effect it.

Hi: I bought one with my Pocono but when I tried to install it I found that the pre-drilled holes were too big and the self tapping screws just dropped into the holes. I have talked to Neil at Coal-Trol who is very helpful and he has made a couple of suggestions as a work around, which I will try this weekend. I will let you know how the igniter works when I get the whole installation complete, which probably will not be for another couple of weeks, as I am also installing the Hot Air Jacket and two hot water coils.

If Jerry sees this, maybe he can comment on the pre-drilled holes for the igniter.

I really enjoy reading the topics and have benefitted from all the info. available.
