This is mostly to do with signatures and how they can be used, the following has been added in its own section:

The Rules wrote:
Signatures

  • You may include information or links to your business or other profitable enterprises providing the site conforms to the rules under the Posting Guidleines section.
  • No more than 5 lines of text including blank lines, each line may not exceed 50 characters.
  • If you include an image in your signature you are limited to one line of text with no more than 50 characters.
  • No more than a grand total of 4 links in a signature.
  • No more than 2 links in a signature to external pages, an additional 2 links can be used if you want to link to pages on Nepacrossroads.com
  • Images in a signtaures may not be any larger than 350*75 pixels and have a file size no larger than 20 kilobytes.
  • Signatures with images are limited to one link.

Additionally the rules for the classifieds has been changed to this:

What the classifieds is for:

  • Listing any personal property you own for sale.
  • Listing personal property for a close acquaintance.

What the classifieds is not for:

  • Listing items you do not own, do not know the owner or providing links to items on other sites.
  • Listings items from commercial business's.
  • Listing items with inadequate topic titles, these will be locked.

As a side note if you are listing an item here and have an additional listings elsewhere such as on E-Bay you may link to it providing the post does not consist solely of just a link.

The full rules can be found here or from the links in your control panel.

So let's say we find a killer deal on a stoker on Craigslist or similar and would like to help out our fellow coal buddies....where would you like it put or do you not want these listed at all??

I don't want posts started in the classifieds or anywhere else specifically for listing stoves on ebay or elsewhere.

New Thread posted anywhere = "Found this on ebay if anyone is interested" = Bad

New thread = "Found this on ebay is it worth it? I need advice" = Fine

No if you're starting a new topic for a stove you have no interest in yourself its not fine.

If it comes up during the course of a discussion whatever....

I'm not going to analyze every post that mentions a ebay listing. The bottom line is I don't want the:

"Anyone interested I found this on E-bay" type posts.
