Changes to the classified section.

There's a new section for wanted ads, additionally you can now lock your own topic started there. If you sell an item or no longer want an item please use this feature to lock the topic so others will know its no longer current.

In the lower left you'll find a drop down box, select lock post and hit the go button.

Can it also be unlocked by the author? I'm thinking of the situation where someone sells something, locks the thread and then the buyer backs out. I know the seller should wait until the money is hand.

No it cannot be unlocked by the author and there is no setting for me to allow that if I wanted too. They can either contact a moderator to unlock it.

What the classifieds is for:

• Listing any personal property you own for sale.
• Listing personal property for a close acquaintance.

What the classifieds is not for:

• Listing items you do not own, do not know the owner or providing links to items on other sites.
• Listings items from commercial business's.
• Listing items with inadequate topic titles, these will be locked.
