They look like twins!
My vet says the same thing. He has to be. We got him for FREE if you can believe that! My buddies gave him to me as a housewarming gift. Weighs about 22 lbs & has the best temperment of any animal I've ever seen or owned. I wake up in the morning & his head is on my face, drooling! He sleeps in between me & the wife -- we can toss & turn all night & he lies there like a brick. We have to get the sheets in position ahead of time or we'll freeze!
He sure loves his mice though!!

And this is Ozzy, with a present of mouse entrails for me in the morning!
He's my brother's cat. Sort of a long-term cat-sitting stint ..... it's been 2.5 years so far!
We have one more cat to, that looks like Ozzy's identical twin, only female. She hasn't done anything crazy yet .......

How many costumes you got??
At least your "dead thing" doesn't have entrails hanging out & blood everywhere!

With 2 cats that happens here too. One of the cats eats the mice and leaves a gut pile on the floor. The crunching is really gross.
