The Fox Still Has The Keys To The Hen House!

I agree that all options should be looked at but getting rid of the IRS and Federal Reserve. Who would managed tax collection and retard or stimulate the economy with rate changes and of more recent bail out big companies that emply thousands of workers. Do you really want your neighbors house to be boarded up because they lost their jobs. While I don't like that we're bailing out big business and shady practices the Federal Reserve is trying hard to stop the bleeding and to keep our economy healthy. In the end I think it will be viewed that they did the right things.

Economic law will rule over this mess, and the more the federal reserve tries to influence it the longer and more severe it will be. The federal reserve should not be bailing out private bankers, period, imho --not on the backs of the taxpayers. I wholeheartedly disagree that the federal reserve will be looked at as having done the right fhing for the United States --perhaps the bankers, but not the American people.

As far as the IRS goes, it should be scaled back considerably to adjust for the reduced sevices that will be needed to enforce and collect revenues from a national sales tax as opposed to the current income tax system.

It's just amazing to me that the Republican concept of no socialism & Free Market systems go flying out the window when their rich corporate buddies are in trouble. Help the average "Joe" with his mortgage or health care??...SOCIALISM!!
Use taxpayer money (OUR money) to save their buddies.....fine!

After a few major problems with that concept are taken care of, (charitable contributions, etc) I have no problem with that idea.
