I just got a bin off a guy from the lancaster area that was very reasonable in price. He used 2x6’s and used tin roofing nice and heavy and well structured. I have pics if anyone is interested in looking at them. I told him about these forums and how ive been looking for bin plans or bins to buy for awhile and had no luck. Im posting this for anyone who had the same problem I had. Make sure to give me your email address being the size might not be allowed on these pages for the pictures.hope this helps someone looking!!

Looks nice. I hate raw plywood exposed to the elements. The vinyl is a nice touch. Why was he selling it?

also plywood inside is osb I believe and is built that if it pushes due to wieght its built where the plywood is installed form the inside so if it does push it pushes against wood towards supports.also floor is treated area cap around top is treated etc.he asked specifics befor emaking it

Right now he is selling these for $875.00. Delivery is based upon how far out you are. I think he is a little behind right now but im sure he could have this to you by coal burning season. I know he excepts master card, visa, discover, amex checks etc. He needed a $500.00 deposit down and balance due when delivery was made. These bins are very well crafted, very strong. He did have a reference to call.

also the floor shows plywood on 2x4s sitting on top of it.playwood actually is up against 2x6's so pressure pushes it out and not against if you know what I mean.a little much but ill never need a new one and my love of coal burning wont be ending for awhile :)

It is very nice, but 875.00 + is too rich for my blood :( 250.00 and we have a deal :)

That is a nice looking bin, but I can look at a lot of 'ugly' for $875 ! That's about $200 worth of materials..

How do you move one of these bins?? they have to weigh over 300# Did the builder leave hand holds or slots for a lift truck's tines??
