US Government Sponsors Manchester United Soccer Team?!?

I enjoy the quirky downstream ramifications from our government's actions as of late. We were having a discussion this afternoon, and thought up a few.

For example... Manchester United is the most popular football (that's soccer, don't forget) team in the world, and A.I.G. is it's principal sponsor.
So, as a result of it's bailout of A.I.G., the United States Government is now the principal sponsor of Manchester United.
Therefore, it's only a matter of time until the Man United jerseys all have the US flag on them. So sweet.
