Hi,
So I've just agreed to purchase a Tarm 202 (80K BTUs). Too late to locally find a new unit, I've been looking for a used boiler. The 202 is too small to use as the only boiler in my house (4000+ sq ft, 5yrs old), but I hope that it will significantly dent my heating oil bill. If it cuts my oil usage in half, the boiler payback will be less than a year. I may keep looking for a larger boiler, but pickings are slim right now.
Installation is the next challenge, I live in central MA on the RI border. If anyone could recommend a contractor, I would appreciate it. In general, I'm a DIY'er, but a boiler doesn't sound like a do it yourself kind of job. I have a spare flu in my chimney, so the job would primarily consist of the plumbing.

Regards,
Gary

Read read read.

Especialy posts on boiler hook ups, look up primary secondary piping takes some time to sink in but it looks like the best way to have two boilers suppling your heat.
