Which Hitzer stove should I get for Bit and wood? I have a 1500 sq. ft. old farmhouse. Currently using a Dutch West Medium stove with wood and it is way to small in the cold months, currently using lots of propane.I don't think anthracite is available locally. We like having the stove in the main living area. I would prefer using Coal primarily but am concerned due to all the negative things I have read about Bit coal. If the Bit does'nt work out I would like to be left with a stove that is an excellent woodburner, with a large firebox. I contacted Hitzer and was told that all their products can burn wood but cannot be advertised that way due to EPA. Any advice would be appreciated.

get the hitzer 354 it is a fine stove. Or if you want a smaller stove try the 254. Either stove will burn bit or wood fine.
