It's an internal Brick Chimney about 35-40' tall!! Maybe have to open the cleanout!! :)

Last year I held the baro closed and opened the ash door. When the Man-O-Meter got to -.12" the pipes started to smoke and I started hearing a roaring sound. That's when I got scared and let go of the baro and shut the ash door. Tall chimney here too.

Did the draft go so high because of venturi effect?You would think with the ash door open on the chimney it would act like a big baro.

BB, I think he meant the ash door on the appliance not the cleanout on the chimney.

Man, that is tall!

Yes, the ash door on the Harman, not the cleanout on the chimney.

Ian, remember when I first found this forum and I thought my problems with the stove were because of a poorly drafting chimney?

It pays to buy good coal!!!
