Hi guys. New to coal burning and purchased a used Harman SF-150. Replaced 3 grates and dont know if there is actually supposed to be and ash "pan" that slides or catches ash. Right now there is nothing below the grates but the bottom of the stove. I just assumed you shoveled the ashes out as they begin to accumalte. Any help?

Yes, you are missing the ash pan. You can get one from a Harman dealer or have a sheet metal shop fab one. It's not a complicated piece.
