Does anyone have Zebra Finches?

I have three finches one male and two females. One of them lays eggs like crazy but won't sit on them? When she is ready to lay an egg the male will help make a nest then after she lays the egg he steals the grass.

I think what has happened to the male is that he has gone over the edge trying to keep 2 females happy.That would drive any male crazy and it simply cannot be done.Lots of people have proven the point. Seriously,if my Grandfather were alive you would have your answer.He raised canarys etc, and knew all the fine points.I can remember him using little glass eggs,bird segregation and other strange tactics, but I don't the half of it. Thanks Mike. I had them together and the male was fighting the one so I put another nest In the cage. It seemed to help.
